GO-NOW Purpose

Greater Orlando NOW’s (GO-NOW's) purpose is to act through intersectional grassroots activism to advance feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all people, especially women and girls, in all aspects of social, political, and economic life. We should all be feminists.

The Greater Orlando Chapter recognizes that Climate Change is an existential threat, an emergency requiring immediate action and worldwide collaboration. A key GO-NOW purpose is to support action on the Climate Crisis. Now, people's pandemic needs have become a priority as well.  Pandemic preparedness now will be a new purpose because it impacts women and girls, and the disadvantaged the most. Our purpose includes healthcare for all, criminal justice overhaul, fines and fees action, and more.
